Come spend a cozy evening learning how to create your very own hand-knitted chenille blanket—using your hands instead of knitting needles! No knitting experience is needed. I'll walk you through the technique step-by-step and help you get your blanket started.
Each participant will receive 6 skeins of super-soft jumbo chenille yarn:
*Dark Oilve green/white
*Cranberry/white
*Combination Cranberry/sage/white
Your blanket will be a beautiful Multi-toned design, but here's the fun part—you get to decide how you want to use your colors!
Create stripes, alternating rows, or your own unique pattern. There is no right or wrong way to design your blanket. Make it completely yours!
Your finished blanket will be approximately 30" x 45", although finished size may vary slightly depending on individual knitting tension.
You'll have 2½ hours of hands-on instruction during our first class, where you'll learn the technique and get your blanket underway.
And because I know chunky blankets can take a little practice, you're also invited back for an optional Follow-Up Q&A & Finish Class.
We'll meet again Tuesday December 2 evening to troubleshoot, answer questions, help you work through any tricky spots, and show you how to finish your blanket.
